This policy explains how personal information is collected and used when you browse the site, contact me, book a call, or purchase products or services through Stripe.

Information we collect

• Contact details — name, email address, and message content when you use the contact form, email, or scheduling tools (e.g. Calendly).
• Payment & billing — when you pay, Stripe processes card or payment details. I receive limited billing information (e.g. name, email, billing country, last four digits, payment status). I do not store full card numbers on this site.
• Purchase records — product or service purchased, amount, date, and delivery status (e.g. digital download access).
• Technical data — standard server/analytics logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, if enabled by hosting (Netlify) or analytics tools I use.

How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and book discovery calls
• Process payments and deliver digital products or services
• Send receipts, invoices, and project-related communications
• Improve the website and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

I do not sell your personal information. I do not use your data for third-party advertising networks unrelated to running this business.

Payment processing (Stripe)

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe’s use of your payment information is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy. By checking out, you also agree to Stripe’s terms for cardholders where applicable.

Service providers

I may share information with vendors who help operate the business, solely as needed to provide the service, for example:

• Stripe (payments)
• Netlify (website hosting and forms)
• Calendly or similar (appointment booking), if you use it
• Email providers used to send receipts or project files

Cookies

Retention

Contact and project records are kept as long as needed for the engagement and for legitimate business, tax, and legal purposes. Payment records are retained consistent with Stripe and accounting requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information I hold, or to object to certain processing. Email ryan@ryankeiser.net with “Privacy request” in the subject. I may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children

This site and its products are directed to adults and businesses. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when material updates are posted.
